Bursary Application Form – WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines 2025
The WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines is one of the most challenging but rewarding qualifications in wine and the IWEC is proud to be able to facilitate learning for what we hope will be the new leaders in the South African wine industry. Thanks to the Gérard Basset Foundation we are delighted to offer a bursary for a deserving candidate.
Requirements:
- You have passed WSET Level 3 in Wines with a Merit or Distinction grade.
- You are currently employed in the wine/hospitality/tourism industries.
- You are from an historically disadvantaged community.
- You can commit financially by covering the balance of the course cost of R45,000 (due no later than 30 June 2025).
- You are committed to attend all lectures and exams (dates below) held in Stellenbosch.
- You are motivated to make a difference in the wine industry in Africa.
Please note the following before you make your application:
If you need to retake the exam there will be additional charges.
This bursary cannot be combined with any other bursaries.
